Certified Cardiology Tech
Location: Waco, Texas US
The Certified Cardiology Technician records electromotive variations in action of heart muscle by using electrocardiograph machine to provide data for diagnosis of heart ailments. The Certified Cardiology Technician instructs and trains new personnel in the proper use of equipment and testing protocols in a professional manner. The Certified Cardiology Technician mentors junior techs in the proper procedures of arrhythmia recognition to ensure their use of safe testing methods. The Certified Cardiology Technician monitors vital signs as well as recording EKG data during study to ensure safety of patient; recognizes life threatening arrhythmias and notifies physician of abnormal results. The Certified Cardiology Technician downloads EKG's accurately for proper storage and retrieval; performs retrievals, editing and backups as necessary to maintain the integrity of the data.
The ideal candidate for The Certified Cardiology Technician position must be able to work in a team environment and have strong interpersonal and problem solving skills with commitment to professionalism and providing quality care to members.
