External Description:

The Referral Coordinator pre-certifies and communicates recommendation for treatment to insurance companies. Schedules referrals to Specialist, logs referral or enters into database, verifies patients� insurance information, documents all referrals and handles patient follow-up. 

The ideal Referral Coordinator candidate is someone with effective communication skills who is organized, flexible and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
