The Clinical Learning Educator develops, organizes, implements, and evaluates educational programs that facilitate the professional growth, skill development, competency, and attainment of standards of care for direct care providers. Provides inter-professional, intradepartmental, interdepartmental and community clinical and non-clinical education. Utilizes scientific inquiry to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
The Clinical Learning Educator develops, coordinates, provides and evaluates educational material and programs to achieve expected outcomes; collaborates with the inter-professional team to develop and administer an annual learning needs assessment; develops and deploys appropriate data gathering tools to determine learning needs; plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates clinical orientation for the inter-professional team both at individual and departmental level; administrates the web-based learning management system, determining appropriate assignments; reports on compliance; and maintains data.
The Educator provides consultation in teaching/learning theory and adult education to improve awareness and education of the inter-professional healthcare team; demonstrates and maintains depth and breadth of clinical knowledge, skills and competence in the point of care setting; designs and ensures a comprehensive evaluation of each education activity and evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes at the point-of-care level; and assists in the preparation for review by regulatory agencies.
The ideal Clinical Learning Educator candidate will have exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; Microsoft Office Skills ï¿½ Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher; demonstrates initiative for proactive and independent management of time/tasks/projects; ability to establish collaborative relationships with subject matter experts and other internal and/or external partners; and demonstrates a dynamic and innovative approach to learning; seek and embrace challenges.

Allied Health Professional
2 Years of clinical experience in an Allied Health Role such as Physical Therapy, Occupational therapy, Medical Technologist, Lab, etc.
