The Contract Manager will be responsible for drafting, structuring, interpreting, executing, submitting, and administering contractual documents.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
The Contract Manager identifies business objectives of contracts, licensing, consulting transactions, and facilitates risk/benefit analysis. The Contract Manager oversees the change control process and related correspondence
requiring legal input as well as mentor and train others on the contract submission process.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of Baylor Scott & White Health contract templates, policies, legal risk and liabilities. The ideal candidate must have strong negotiation, communication, written, computer skills, and the ability to pay attention to detail, prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently. Must have at least 2 years relevant professional experience preferably as an attorney in private practice or in a similar role in-house and experience in dealing with government departments preferred.
