Government Financial Advisor

The Baylor Scott & White Health Government Finance Advisor acts as an advisor providing financial planning and modeling of governmental reimbursements. This role works with reimbursement issues, and ensures appropriate accounting for contractual allowances and government reserves. Our Government Finance Advisor independently prepares cost settlement reports, works on Government Finance month end preparations for facilities, and provides communication to CFO and Finance executives within the system as needed. The advisor is also responsible for educating financial staff and supported management on reimbursement issues.
The ideal Government Financial Advisor must have strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

ï¿½ Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and 4 years of experience
o Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and 6 years of experience
o High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of experience
