The Waco Nurse Family Partnership Program Manager is responsible for maintaining a funding stream that will insure the sustainability of the NFP program and managing activities to ensure success. This position develops and implements a marketing strategy for the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) including promoting within the Baylor Scott & White Health system and communities. The Program Manager schedules and oversees planning for special events that publicize the organization, establishes fundraising and development goals, identifies potential donors or sources of funding, and plans outreach strategies. The Program Manager will develop funding streams from public and private sources, and liaison with the National Service Office of the NFP. In addition, this position is also responsible for working closely with the Nurse-Family Partnership Advisory Board to meet the goals of the program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
The Waco Nurse Family Partnership Program Manager will develop social media campaigns, create marketing materials and manage the operating budget. The Program Manager participates in and holds events to raise awareness and fundraising including but not limited to, researching resources, writing proposals, grant applications and administering grants.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
The ideal candidate must have experience with both for-profit and non-profit organizations in Texas. An understanding of both state and local governments and their funding agencies and a degree in Business, Public Health or related field is preferred.
