The Contact Center Specialist II is responsible for professionally and enthusiastically answering incoming calls and electronic requests from patients, family members and other external parties to register new patients, schedule healthcare appointments, answer questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information on behalf of the institution. The Contact Center Specialist II verifies insurance coverage or determines patient self-pay responsibility and provides cost information. The Contact Center Specialist II accurately schedules healthcare appointments based on need, patient request and in accordance with system and clinic guidelines. The Contact Center Specialist II interprets physician orders to schedule appointments and ancillary tests. The Contact Center Specialist II instructs patient in preparation of tests and procedures, routings, locations and other general information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate for The Contact Center Specialist II must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
