The Anesthesia Technician II assists Anesthesiologist with routine to complex procedures before, during, and after anesthesia procedures. Prepares and calibrates equipment and verifies proper working order of equipment prior to procedures.
The Anesthesia Technician II prepare anesthesia carts and equipment set up prior to anesthesia procedures, prepare IV solution and lines, arterial line, and CVP. Check equipment to ensure working order and report any issues to Biomedical Engineering.Assist Anesthesiologist with procedure by passing supplies, instruments, and lines.
The Anesthesia Technician II completes complex troubleshooting of anesthesia equipment, ventilators, and instrumentation. Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate par levels of all supplies and demonstrate Five Star Spirit characteristics.
The Anesthesia Technician candidate is someone who is able to maintain effective communication with patients, staff and physicians; and ensure appropriate protocols with procedures and customer satisfaction.
