Room Control Revenue Cycle Coordinator- Part-Time weekend nights

The Room Control Coordinator obtains patient information in order to assign, control, and log appropriate service accommodations for patients admitted to the medical center. The Room Control Coordinator also coordinates special transfers according to room availability and admission approval from other medical facilities and coordinates activities with Nursing Staff and Physician Office to accommodate reservations due to impending conditions such as bed shortages, staff shortages, room transfers, and patient overflow. In addition, the Room Control Coordinator maintains records of patient furlough, room rate adjustments, in-house transfers, and 24-hour observation, inputs data and reviews reports for anticipated admissions and make any correction as required.
The ideal Room Control Coordinator candidate is organized, detail-oriented, has effective communication and logistical skills and provides excellent customer service to physicians, staff and patients.
