The Assistant to SWHP CEO will administer the day-to-day office operations of the President & CEO to maximize executive productivity, ensure department efficiency, perform complex tasks as assigned, and provide independent secretarial/ administrative support to facilitate effective operations.
The Assistant to SWHP CEOï¿½s responsibilities will involve effectively managing the CEO's calendar, acting independently to routinely scheduled appointments and arranging any necessary travel itineraries, promptly and courteously answering and screening phone calls, responding independently when possible or routing calls as appropriate. In the absence of management, the Assistant will exercise initiative and judgment in responding to customer problems or complaints (both internal and external) promptly, courteously and in accordance with established policies and procedures or, if unable or unqualified to assist, promptly refers to the appropriate party or department and follows-up to ensure problem resolution.
The Assistant to SWHP CEO will provide logistical support to programs, events or conferences to
ensure successful outcomes, provide day-to-day supervision of department and assigned staff members to ensure department efficiency and continuity of service, complete objective annual performance appraisals for assigned staff members. Prepare and recommend effective budgets to cover the projected costs of staffing, equipment and supplies needed to run the department.
The Ideal Candidate will have an Associate's degree (two-year program) or equivalent formal training program, six to eight years in an administrative support/executive secretarial position, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and possess strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking
