External Description:

The Baylor Scott & White Health Care Anesthesia Tech Lead monitors and adjusts staffing to ensure appropriate support of anesthesia support operations while minimizing costs, assists the anesthesia personnel in the delivery of quality patient care by ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for each anesthetic procedure at all anesthetizing sites.

 

Our Anesthesia Tech Lead checks, cleans and restocks anesthesia machines, trays and carts following Infection Control guidelines, terminally clean anesthesia machines in 20 operating rooms and in outside areas (Litho, OB, and X-Ray); replaces Sara system sampling lines and CO2 lines, change soda sorb and replace tanks of oxygen, nitrous and air as needed.


The ideal Anesthesia Tech Lead will be a leader and role model to the team, and be able to work in a fast paced and sometimes high stress environment. The Anesthesia Tech Lead must be a self-starter with ability to work independently required.
