External Description:

The HR Project Analyst works closely with HR leaders and staff on the planning, coordination and execution of small to large projects.  The HR Project Analyst will coordinate a wide range of activities; serve as a subject matter expert on project plans and status, and develop / maintain positive working relationships across the project team, HR and the System.  Also, the HR Project Analyst supports assigned projects by helping design systems and procedures, creating and monitoring project status and budgets, conducting data analysis and implementing process improvement plans to assure timely and successful project completion.  In addition, the HR Project Analyst is responsible for the following:

�       Leads and plans the development of detailed project schedules (currently using Microsoft Project), resource plans, contingency plans, status reports and contributes to the effectiveness of a team integrating multiple functions/disciplines.

�       Reviews project deliverables for accuracy, apprises management of issues affecting project status, and offers solutions to resolve issues.

�       Communicates effectively with internal and external resources to ensure high quality service coordination and delivery.

�       Conducts post-project reviews and develops lessons learned documentation. 

�       Assists with the development and implementation of project management strategies and processes across the System, to include accompanying training and communication plans.

�       Assists with the integration and mechanization of HR processes (e.g., recruiting, onboarding, talent/performance management, compensation, etc.).  This may include assisting with identification of system requirements, user testing, developing job aids, reporting, design of measurement metrics, creation of dashboards, etc.)

�       Performs audits to ensure quality, accuracy and the integrity of the data.  Analyzes the error and control reports as well as reviews the resolution of data.

�       Utilizes problem solving techniques to identify areas for improvement, creates tactical action plans and implements/monitors improvements.

�       Provides administrative support that includes, but not limited to document support, scheduling, invoicing, etc.

 

The ideal candidate for the HR Project Analyst role will have strong project management experience, excellent communication and relationship building skills, data analysis / metric reporting experience, and demonstrated advanced competency of Excel, PeopleSoft, Powerpoint, MS Project and Taleo.  In addition, the ideal candidate must be innovative, analytical, a team player, a change management agent, results-oriented, process-oriented and organized, with the ability to work independently to manage a project to completion.
