External Description:

The Neurology Tech will perform advanced Neurodiagnostic testing of the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient, including Evoked Potentials in the Laboratory and at the bedside of critically ill patients in the intensive care units. Under minimal supervision can perform long-term epilepsy monitoring, and ambulatory EEG. Performs advanced maintenance on all equipment to include troubleshooting audio video monitoring equipment, repairing and replacing parts as necessary and reporting problems to appropriate service personnel without supervision.
The ideal Neurology Tech must be able to work in a lead capacity to assist in the training of new staff and junior staff and demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behaviors.
