The Baylor Scott & White Health Facilities Maintenance Tech II competently performs installations, preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on one or more of functional areas. Our Facilities Maintenance Tech II works with and guides Facilities Technicians I as assigned and/or requested.
The Facilities Maintenance Tech II Complies with OSHA, and other local, state and federal regulations, and complies with all healthcare regulatory agency requirements, such as TDHS & TJC, etc Responds to emergency situations to ensure employee, patient and facility safety. In additions, champions overall safety in the department and reports possible safety issues and recommends appropriate changes.
The ideal Facilities Maintenance Tech II candidate will possess strong technical, mechanical and problem-solving skills, have the ability to deal with difficult situations, resolve issues and concerns in a professional manner. Must have the ability to work and accomplish tasks in a stressful, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and work ethic.
