External Description:

The Physical Therapist PRN conducts Physical Therapy evaluations and treatment interventions for patients upon physician referral to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.  The Physical Therapist PRN reviews the medical record and patient history upon receipt of a written or verbal consultation to determine physical therapy treatment required. The Physical Therapist PRN selects and accurately performs appropriate tests and measurements. The Physical Therapist PRN develops meaningful and effective physical therapy treatment plan and goals.  The Physical Therapist PRN develops effective programs and applies therapeutic principles appropriately Instruct, assist, and monitor patient performance and physical status to ascertain effectiveness of program.  The Physical Therapist PRN maintains accurate records and prepares timely reports according to department, Baylor Scott & White and regulatory policies, procedures and guidelines.  The Physical Therapist PRN develops treatment plan and communicate adequate information to PTA

Qualifications

 -  Bachelors Degree required

 -  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required

 -  Physical Therapist (PT) license required
