The Baylor Scott & White Health Supervisor Nursing provides supervision to all nursing and unit-based personnel on a designated shift in the provision of professional patient-centered care.
The Supervisor Nursing collaborates with the nursing manager in the planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and monitoring of policies and procedures, budgets and the allocation of resources, continuous quality improvement initiatives, educational programs and shared governance/shared leadership councils to achieve departmental and organizational goals and objectives. Our Supervisor Nursing supervises staff and provides professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures to include performing assessments, implementing and evaluating treatments, and developing and documenting nursing care plans.
The ideal Supervisor Nursing candidate will have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to motivate a multi-disciplinary team.

Graduate of an accredited program required
1 year of related work experience required
Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required
