Seeking experienced Neurosurgery PA to join a busy practice in Austin, Texas. Minutes from all that downtown Austin has to offer, the practice is located on the edge of the Texas Hill Country and lakes. The area's strong economy and steady growth contribute to an exceptional lifestyle. Excellent schools, sports activities, a vibrant live music scene and countless outdoor activities await.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in neurosurgery. Duties will include OR first- assist, inpatient, ICU and clinic as well as some call (currently one day per week).
The ideal candidate for the Neurosurgery Physician Assistant role maintains effective communication with patients, staff and physicians; provides patient care in a competent, professional and courteous manner; and keeps abreast of current research and incorporates relevant findings into specific areas of clinical practice.
Location/Facility - Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Lakeway, Austin, Texas

Shift/Schedule - Full Time with call (currently 1 day per week)

Requirements:
Physician Assistant NCCPA Certification
Texas Physician Assistant license (must be eligible if not current)
Bachelor's Degree or higher
BLS certification
DEA license
Neurosurgery experience preferred
