The Quality Improvement/ Clinical Data/ Value-Based HealthCare Associate provides subject matter expertise and comprehensive value-based clinical measurement analytics for quality improvement initiatives across the Heart and Vascular Services organization. The Value-Based HealthCare Associate analyzes the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDRï¿½). The position evaluates patient safety, quality improvement and other relevant data in support of hospital quality improvement strategy and quality improvement projects and in accordance with regulatory and entity-specific requirements. Monitors quality and ensures the integrity of quality improvement measurement data. Identifies and recommends measures to enhance reporting processes, tools and methods in support of value-based healthcare goals. Maintains awareness of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field of performance measurement and reporting by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, and actively participating in professional organizations.
The ideal candidate for Value-Based HealthCare Associate will have strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. He/She will have an understanding of Cardiology, Health Informatics, and Analytics.
