Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center Emergency Department is expanding and we are looking for an outstanding BE/BC PEM physician to add to our team. Come practice Emergency in a family oriented, and non-malignant medical environment that values collegiality and excellent patient care. All within a state that is extremely EM friendly and in one of the fastest growing areas in the nation.


Overview:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Level II Pediatric Trauma center
  • Great opportunity to work with EM, pediatric, and other residents
  • Affiliation with Texas A&M College of Medicine
  • Epic EMR integrated system wide
  • 14 ED beds expanding to 20 this Fall.
  • 24/7 in-house PICU support
  • Multispecialty Pediatric Clinic next door to hospital

About Baylor Scott and White Health McLane Children's Medical Center:

 

Baylor Scott and White McLane Children's Medical Center has 112 patient beds; 24-hour pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center.  We are the only Level II pediatric trauma center within a 30,000 square mile radius, and the only designated Level IV Neonatal facility in the region.

  

The Baylor Scott and White McLane Children's Transport Program has a designated ground and air ambulance to transport critically ill or injured children, and our team of specialists are available 24-hours a day to respond to the most critical situations.
