 Director Advanced Heart Failure Transplant

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship trained, BC/BE, Advanced Heart Failure Transplant Cardiologist to be the Director of the Advanced Heart Failure Transplant division at our Temple Texas location.  Our heart failure services, including heart transplant/ventricular assist devices and ECMO, are growing and additional physician support is needed. 
 
Duties include inpatient and outpatient heart failure care as well as an inpatient and outpatient heart failure and transplant consultation service.  Additional goals include assisting with the development of a heart-failure/transplant teaching rotation for cardiology fellows and working closely with our transplant surgeons in the further development of these programs. 
 
Qualifications
  • Board certified in cardiovascular disease with additional fellowship training and board certification/eligible in advanced heart failure/cardiac transplantation.  
  • 3-5 years of experience in building an AHF program is preferred
  • Must be UNOS qualified for the care of patients with cardiac transplants
  • An interest in education and research

      - Doctorate Degree in Medicine
