Home > Review Payroll Information Pay schedule
Baylor Scott & White Health is on a biweekly pay schedule. Under a biweekly payroll schedule, employees receive a check every two weeks, which equals 26 paychecks per year. Payday typically falls on a Friday (with the exception of payday occuring on a holiday).
The pay period begins on the Monday before a payday at 12:01 a.m. and ends two weeks later on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. If you are hired in the middle of a pay period, you will only be paid for the hours you worked in that pay period.
- Example: If you are hired on April 5, you will only be paid for applicable hours worked between April 5 - 11. These hours will reflect on your first paycheck on April 16.
For hourly employees:
Any consecutive hours that cross over from one pay period to the next will count towards the pay period in which you clocked in.
- Example: If you clock in at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 11, and clock out at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, April 12 (next pay period), all hours worked on that shift will accumulate in the pay period ending on April 11.
