COVID-19 forced the healthcare system to recalibrate and Baylor Scott and White remains relevant as we find innovative solutions to continue to offer diversity, healing, and excellence in patient care. I started as a clinical pastoral education student in BSW’s pastoral education program and then transitioned into a professional chaplain. Our pastoral care teams are local to each full-service hospital, providing 24/7 access to spiritual care and emotional support during times of crisis for patients, families and staff.

Our Faith in Action team is here to strengthen the spiritual lives of Baylor Scott & White staff, as well as empower medical mission work both locally and internationally.

Acting Honestly

Chaplains abide by the Baylor Scott & White code of ethics and the professional standards for Board Certified Chaplains by the Association of Professional Chaplains as well as the Association of Christian Chaplains.

Confidential conversations are held in sacred trust within the limits of the law.

Our daily goal is to provide quality and compassionate Spiritual Care. We encourage and support creative ministry ideas and share best practices across the system.

Never Settling also means always learning. Our Pastoral Education team provides quality, cutting-edge Clinical Pastoral Education training in an environment where all are welcome.
