With accomplished professionals to guide you, you’ll develop skills and master concepts that serve you, your patients, and your colleagues throughout your career.

Under the leadership of our most experienced nurses, your Baylor Scott & White Health Transition to Practice program will help you build a strong professional foundation that can support your goals far into the future. Designed to meet the needs of both you and the patients, the residency will give you the hands-on experience to develop the competence and confidence to securely grow into your new profession. Areas of focus include effective clinical judgment, clinical leadership and incorporating research-based evidence into your practice.

As a new grad interested in non-nursing, paid internship opportunities, you will find that our robust training programs can help navigate you through your chosen field of interest as you work alongside some of the most renowned professionals in their field. The internship will teach you to succeed in a patient-centric, purpose-driven environment that’s defined by servanthood and a commitment to continuous improvement.
